“Of course, we have only positive emotions. We had a tough championship, I wouldn’t say that all the games were passable. But I am very pleased with the team, it was very interesting to play. I’m glad we won,” says Yevhen Skyba, head coach of Dynamo Amazon – Children and Youth Sports School. Y. Kutenko.
“We made an intrigue, but not everything worked out. We really wanted to beat the Lviv team, but we couldn’t. Nevertheless, we made a step forward – last year we were third, and now we are second. I am pleased with my girls, there is progress,” says Mykhailo Lebedev, head coach of the Kyiv national team.
“Unfortunately, we had a bad season this year. But at the moment, I think it’s very difficult for the girls to play psychologically because we haven’t lived at home for two years. This probably puts psychological pressure on them. I’m satisfied with today’s game, our goalkeeper played very well, the score was better than in the second and third rounds,” says the head coach of the Donetsk region team, Serhiy Ryabchenko.
“I am grateful, first of all, to our Armed Forces for allowing us to hold the competition. And to the girls for fighting and showing their character. I am very grateful to our girls for the victory,” said Oleksandr Svishchov, President of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation.
“I am very grateful and respectful to the team for keeping fit during the war and pleasing their fans. This year it is more difficult to organize such tournaments than in previous years, we understand this. Therefore, many thanks to everyone involved in the organization, to the girls who fought. In fact, everyone won,” said Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.
“Congratulations to the Lviv teams, both boys and girls, who have once again become champions of Ukraine. On my own behalf, I would like to say that the Lviv Regional Swimming Federation will continue to train our water polo staff as much as possible so that they continue to be champions of Ukraine,” says Andriy Gutnyk, head of the Lviv Regional Swimming Federation.

The Kyiv team won silver at the championship, and the Donetsk region team won bronze.
The fourth and final round of the Ukrainian Women’s Championship (Major League) took place in Lviv from May 31 to June 2.
