Today, Lviv hosted the premiere of an extremely powerful documentary film “Hummer” dedicated to Taras Bobanych, the commander of the 2nd Rifle Battalion who died fighting against the Russian invaders.

Lviv philanthropist and custodian of Ukraine’s cultural heritage Oleksandr Svishchov noted that the film, which tells the story of the hero, will definitely leave its mark on the history of Ukraine and its courageous defenders. Mr. Svishchov noted that the film will not be limited to Ukrainian viewers only; it will be shown in the United States, Canada and other countries so that the world can see the heroism of Ukrainians and hear the words of our defenders. The filmmakers have clearly conveyed Taras Bobanych’s message through the screen: “It’s time for us to be strong”.
