The founder of FC Ruh, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, and the President of the Water Polo Federation of Ukraine, Ukrainian businessman and philanthropist Oleksandr Svishchov, donated UAH 2 million to the Charitable Foundation “Invincible” for prosthetics for Ukrainian defenders.
“We know that while the military is protecting us from the enemy, we have to work and help. Not only to help those who are at the front, but also to help those who have returned. We are glad that there are rehabilitation centers in Ukraine that not only fit prostheses but also manufacture them. That is why we are joining this initiative and donating funds to the Unbreakable Foundation to purchase components that will ensure the manufacture of high-quality and effective prostheses for our military. We are grateful to all the defenders and believe that there will be victory. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!” said philanthropist and businessman Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and Oleksandr Svishchov regularly help Ukrainian defenders. Since the beginning of 2024, well-known Lviv philanthropists have donated more than UAH 7.5 million to various needs of the Armed Forces.
“Today it is very important to create the best conditions for our defenders to recover. For those who have lost their limbs, it is possible only with high-quality functional prostheses. That’s why we are joining this initiative and donating funds to Unbroken to buy components for the manufacture of high-quality and effective prostheses for our military,” said Alexander Svishchov.
The Unbroken National Rehabilitation Center is a place where adults and children receive comprehensive, qualified medical care. Since the beginning of the war, more than 15,000 wounded Ukrainians have been treated here, including 350 children. The center not only fits prostheses, but also manufactures them. The Center provides physical, psychological and psychosocial rehabilitation. People receive all medical care free of charge.
“Thanks to benefactors, 2 million hryvnias were transferred to our Unbroken rehabilitation center. These funds will be used to help our defenders who have lost their limbs. Thanks to the help of such patrons as Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy and Oleksandr Svishchov, we will be able to install limbs for our defenders and give them the opportunity to walk, move and recover as much as possible,” said Iryna Zaslavets, Communications and Partnerships Director of the First Lviv Medical Association and Unbroken project manager.
Earlier, the Obozrevatel website ranked the top 10 Western Ukrainian businessmen who are actively developing sports. It included well-known businessmen and philanthropists Oleksandr Svishchov, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, Roman Fedyshyn, Petro Adamik, Valeriy Peresolyak and others.
Oleksandr Yuriyovych Svishchov – President of the Ukrainian Water Polo Federation, Ukrainian businessman, philanthropist. Oleksandr Svishchov is the head of the Dynamo Lviv water polo club. During his presidency, the club achieved significant results: in a few years, it became a seven-time champion of Ukraine, an eight-time winner of the Ukrainian Cup, and a three-time winner of the Ukrainian Super Cup. Today, Water polo club Dynamo Lviv is the absolute leader of the Super League in water polo for the 2023/2024 season.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy – is the founder and honorary president of FC Ruh, a well-known Lviv businessman and philanthropist. In 2009, he took over the adult and youth teams of the Ruh football club in Vynnyky. Thanks to the support of Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, football is developing not only in the West, but throughout Ukraine. The businessman and philanthropist is creating a unique project, the FC Ruh Football Academy, the first of its kind, which has no analogues in Ukraine.
